My city my beloved
Love thee spirit an unending grit
We fight together thru this poisonos mist

Candel march and roses
Rest in peace fellow mumbaikars
Today we vow to stand together

We will find and kill these basterds
Arms in tow and voice as one
Salam mumbai to your spirit to fight

Standup for your right
Ask the goverment to use its wit
Help them find and kill these pricks

War it is on our land
Basterds use cloak of night
Mumbai challenges you One on One fight

We pray and pledge
Shall help one and all
Together we stand as a force of god

  1. PhotoDiction says:

A call to arms. A call for freedom. You write with real passion in this poem. (By the way, check your link in Poetry Potluck as it is missing a ‘ : ‘ character thereby creating a broken link).

  2. Jingle says:

    bless your city…

    Happy Potluck.

  3. Shashi says:

Oh Yes I feel sad about it. We will have to stand up and fight with our resolve in not letting those idiots take us as sitting ducks… we will have to stand firm and not fear… the onslaught of fear mongering..
We must let them know that we are willing to be vigilant but not fearful…
